Employee Perks Consulting

Go-to-Market Planning
Go-to-Market Planning

Once you decide to work with us, we will set up a 30–45-minute call to go over the process and your brand’s go-to-market strategy. First, we will conduct a thorough needs analysis to comprehend what outcomes your business is seeking—whether it’s sales, appointments, leads, or other specific goals.
Secondly, we’ll delve into reviewing the total margins, understanding that perks platforms typically desire a cut of the sale through a revenue-sharing model. If the total margin stands at 20%, it’s crucial to ensure that the user receives the better deal. We recommend offering the user a 15% discount and granting the publisher partner a 5% revenue share per sale. In cases where an exclusive discount can’t be provided (not merely an exclusive code), some perks platforms have cashback or points programs where they offer users a portion of the revenue share as cashback. At Employee Perks Consulting, we generally don’t favor this approach as it tends to perform less effectively than offering a direct discount. However, we’ll guide you through this option to assess if it might align better with your brand.

Thirdly, we’ll discuss the launch timeline, select perks platforms you wish to collaborate with, and outline all the prerequisites for commencement. We highly recommend applying to the top perks publishers, each of which we’ll thoroughly review, detailing their specific requirements. Rest assured, Employee Perks Consulting will be your primary contact, streamlining this entire process.

Lastly, it’s essential to note that before the launch, you’ll need to work on the following:

  • Determining the discount percentage and revenue share percentage; this step is critical in the process.
  • Setting up a unique landing page and ensuring proper tracking (We can assist in setting up an affiliate network if tracking capabilities are absent. However, this might necessitate a longer lead time for launch). Note that some perks platforms might require the link to be co-branded.
  • Developing images; we can offer this service or provide access to our library of images. Alternatively, our in-house designers can craft the images for an additional fee. (Please note that image requirements may vary among publishers—some may prefer text within the images while others may not. We’ll ensure we have a variety of images to cater to different preferences.)
  • Following this, our team will collaborate with the publishers to determine which offerings they will accept and explore options for promoting the offer. Simply placing an offer on a site might not yield significant results unless your brand is widely recognized. We’ll explore various promotional opportunities such as strategic site positioning or email communications to the members.

Finally, we’ll initiate the launch and schedule recurring calls to discuss metrics, additional placement opportunities, and more.
